Case Study 03 / 04 / 2008 - White Lining SpecialistsROADS was originaly designed for Riggotts. They appreciated that their existing methods, using Word and Excel to produce quotations and track jobs was inefficient and so commissioned the original design of ROADS, after exhaustively investigating the software market for suitable solutions, which were all either unsuitable for the companies project - based operations, and/or were prohibitively expensive and over-complicated. A small firm with big ideas, employing around 50 or so people, 3 directly in sales/estimating, and 5 people in back-office administration. The impact of ROADS on the business was dramatic! Because the 3 sales/estimators could work more effectively, sales more than doubled in 2 years, with no extra staff. Two of the back-office admin staff were cross-trained and moved to sales, further increasing business. As Darren Riggott said "without ROADS we would have had to employ at least another 5 or 6 people just to cope with paperwork". The increased business allowed for operational investment to increase work capacity without going cap-in-hand to the bank.
